Size House spiders are usually fairly small, with the females almost doubling the size of the male spider. Many people think that they have two different types of spiders living inside of their home because they are such different sizes. This usually isn't the case, there are just both males and females living inside of your home. The legs of a house spiders are usually much longer than the abdomen of the spider. Their legs are lengthy and very skinny. Their abdomens are usually only a fraction of the size of their long legs. Their abdomens usually have some grey striping to them as well. It seems as though in Utah, it is common to have very small almost white house spiders inside of your home. These are in fact house spiders, and often they are baby spiders which is why they are so much lighter in color and much smaller than we explained above. Concern Factor Most house spiders are not something that you need to be concerned about. The majority of house spiders are very calm and are not going to pose any threat to you. In fact, most house spiders are not ever going to be aggressive towards you. Many people do not realize that they are living with these spiders because they usually go about their business quietly, and they do not even notice any bites on their bodies. With that being said, some house spiders are more aggressive than others. While some of these house spiders may be more interested in biting you, they still do not pose a great threat on your health. They may leave you with a small red, itchy bite but it is not going to hurt your body. They are not poisonous and the bite will heal on its own. No one wants to live with house spiders. While you are not at danger with these little spiders living inside of your home, you don't have to be content with them living their either. A pest control company can come in and remove house spiders quite effectively.
